Gluten Free Chili (That even a baby will eat)

Mmm, chili.I tend to practice BLW (babyledweaning). My son loves to eat chickpeas and kidney beans. I love how easy chili is to make. There are endless variations and it so healthy for you. Here are three variations for chili.   It also freezes well . I am usually cooking to feeding a family of 7- so you may cook less or more. 


Beef Chili (Chili con Carne)

1lb of beef (grass fed) local farmer if possible
garlic powder
chili podwer to taste
cayenne powder
1 can of kidney beans, organic
1 can of chickpeas, organice
i can of diced tomatoes , organic(or chopped) 
1 can of spaghetti sauce, tomato paste,  or a cup of diced tomatoes optional- if you are fond of a heavy tomato taste

Vegetarian Chili

tofu
green peppers 
mushrooms
kidney beans
chickpeas 
cumin, chili powder, cayenne pepper
cheese :) 
1)Add cooked tofu to pot of simmering water and spices 
2)add in a can of tomatoes, kidneys beans and chickpeas
3)Once the mixture is well mixed add in green peppers and mushroom. Simmer and allow mixture to mix together. 

vegan

1 jar of tomato sauce, tomato paste 
a handful of cumin
a handful of chili powder
a handful of cayenne pepper 
green peppers, diced 
mushrooms, diced 
chickpeas
 a package of corn
1 jar of kidney beans
1 jar of black beans

  1. Add jar of tomato sauce and a cup of water in a saucepot or crockpot. 
  2. Bring to boil, add spices to taste,  then simmer, remember to stir :)
  3. Simmer for as long as you want as this allows the flavor to blend
