Mining and Human Rights

Hey everyone!
Standing up for social and human rights is an integral part of whom I am. I think that this is important for Canadians to get involved because Canadian mining corporations  have a huge impact on less developed nations. While it is true that there are outside mining corporations working within Canada, one needs to learn about the practices and ethics of all companies.  There are a lot of shocking truths out there and peoples voices' need to be heard and respected.

An interesting side note is how quinoa pronounced keen-wa has taken off in popularity. It is a good source of protein. I find it an interesting taste. It does take getting used to but it is all in how its cooked and used.
